Although it appears earlier in most World Language curriculum guides, I decided to save the study of comparisons and superlatives until the end of the eighth grade year.  As part of our work, I have students make a mock yearbook page of class superlatives.  This gives them a chance to recognize ways their classmates stood out during their Middle School Years.  During the last week of school we held a superlative ceremony in which we awarded certificates in both serious and fun categories.  This year was especially poignant because my first batch of advisees are moving on to Upper School.  I wish them well in their future studies and know that they will continue to stand out in unique ways.
